Description: This is a show-stopping and vibrant Alebrije by artist Lauro Ramirez in Oaxaca, Mexico. The wood carving is in the shape of a rooster. He leans forward with wings stretched and tail feathers on full display. His body is a gorgeous rainbow of color. The piece is signed by the artist. The signature reads as follows: "Lauro Ramirez Arrazola Oaxaca." The rooster is in excellent condition apart from the underside of the tip of one wing (see photo #10).
