Description: *This Locomotive is new old stock and shows no signs of wear and or use. The only imperfection I’ve noted in a little tarnishing on the roof/sides but otherwise this is a very clean example and is in good order. Only 400 of these were made by Kumata in 1971. This Locomotive is NOT DCC ready, however it can be easily converted to DCC using a hardwired decoder. Tested this on 10/17/24 and she ran flawlessly (I’m almost certain this has an upgraded drive/flywheel). Original box is in like new condition with only minimal signs of wear from shelf storage. Original foam has been upgraded using REBOXX’s custom foam inserts to better protect this beauty for years to come. All Brass Locos typically need a little TLC and fine tuning, lubrication, adjustment and break-in to achieve optimal performance.
