Description: This Stunning One-of-a-kind Luxury Mohair Blanket is an EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION, one of just a few copies of this design personally handwoven by award winning weaver Alan Hemmings at Studio in the Church, Login Whitland, Wales. The late Mr. Hemmings was a pioneering hand-weaver and memoirist, first place winner of the Royal National Eisteddfod in 1976, and founder of Donegal Design in Ireland (1951) and Studio of the Church in Wales (1977). The blanket is woven in rich royal blue and eggplant to grey stripes and 70% mohair wool and 25% wool. It is a vintage blanket, circa 1977, in flawless condition / appears to have been carefully stored as a collectable and not used.
