A superb, atmospheric impression, on cream wove paper, with full margins (7/8 to 1 1/2 inches); slight toning at the outside sheet edge, otherwise in excellent condition. Image size 9 5/8 x 13 11/16 inches; sheet size 12 1/16 x 16 1/16 inches. Matted to museum standards, unframed. Crane was a member of the Rockport Art Association and the North Shore Arts Association of Gloucester; the scene depicted is apparently of the Rockport/Gloucester area.
