Fits:1994-1998 Dodge Ram 5.9L 12V Cummins Diesel 2500 3500 This is the AirDog I FP-100-4G fuel system for the 1994-1998 Dodge Ram with the P-Pump 12V Cummins. This diesel lift pump mounts to the frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. This system utilizes the factory suction port in the fuel module for suction and connects directly to the P-Pump, bypassing the factory fuel filter housing and factory fuel pump. Lines and fittings are included to connect the injection pump return, which would normally recirculate through the factory fuel filter housing, to the injector return line and is returned to the tank. The AirDog Air/Vapor return is sent back to the tank through a filler neck tee. This is a 100GPH (Gallon Per Hour) lift pump system. AirDog®The Original Fuel Air Separation SystemThe AirDog® Fuel Preporator®, with the capability to provide fuel at flows and pressures beyond the maximum requirements of the engine, receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. The fuel passes through the water separator which removes the water and large particulate contaminates that could damage or jam the gearator fuel pump. The fuel, with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump. AirDog® BenefitsThe AirDog® Fuel Preporator® removes various contaminates, including entrained air/vapor, particulates and moisture, and removes excess fuel not needed by engines, allowing the fuel to flow through the regulator and return to the fuel tank. The separated air/vapor enters the return port after the regulator, allowing pure fuel to flow to the engine at a regulated positive pressure. A gerotor pump offers quiet, long lasting performance.
