Description: Replacement caps for STEC 3112 yoke mounted electric trim switch. As far as I know these caps are not available from STEC, and the caps alone are not available from the other sources, which do sell a complete replacement trim switch that is a replacement for the STEC assembly. These are very commonly used in some other autopilot/electric trim installations, including some Garmin systems. These switch caps are black plastic, with permanent embedded white lettering. They come with a 1 year warranty. Included is a .050 inch Allen wrench for installation. The switch assembly itself is not included in this sale, but is only shown for reference with the caps installed. Please be aware, these caps are not FAA-PMA parts. Authorization for installation in a certified aircraft is NOT included. No STC currently exists for installing these in a certified aircraft. IMPORTANT NOTE: These parts should NOT to be used on US certified aircraft without the proper FAA paperwork. Consult with your avionics shop or FAA inspector for what is required to legally install these in your US certified aircraft.
