Description: AIR MINISTRY (RAF) BULKHEAD CLOCK - TYPE 21B/829 (DATED 1952) A superb example of an Air Ministry bulkhead clock, manufactured by the renowned F W ELLIOT of Croydon. Dated to the rear 1952, together with the Air Ministry Crown and the Kings cypher. Full working condition and keeps excellent time. I understand that these clocks were fitted to High-Speed Motor Launches used by the RAF to rescue downed pilots at sea. Front cover is removed by slight rotation, giving access to winder. Brass key provided (Size 8) I've not seen one of these lovely clocks in better condition. Perfect for study, kitchen, office etc. Dial size - 6" (15cm). Overall diameter - 8" (20cm). Depth - 3" (8cm)
