Description: 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" This is a listing for a polished specimen of an agatized petrified wood limb casting from Yellow Cat Utah. I kept the natural shape and polished it to a highly reflective shine. This material is uv reactive under 245 nm. This incredible specimen has vivid colors of mineralization visible at depth in translucent quartz. The agtized mineralization swirls through translucent quartz. This stunning piece can be displayed as a stand-out showpiece in any collection. It could also be set as a natural cabochon. Due to its hardness, this material takes an amazing glass like polish. It was polished in stages with the final stage polished with 1-3 micron aluminum oxide. I personally selected all my specimens to ensure they have the most attractive and desirable features. Yellow Cat is not only beautiful but is valuable as well. Tiffany's one had a mine for this same material, and a specimen recently sold for $50,000 at a famous auction house. The colors can not be adequately photographed to give an appropriate appreciation of how striking they whisp through the translucent quartz and smoky quartz. I offer a refund if not as described.
