Description: Up for sale is an after ANTOINE LOUIS BARYE (France,1796-1875) Bronze sculpture of two horses. A very nice version of this sculpture by Barye and signed in the base "Barye 1886" showing some age and established patina. It is believed to be 20th century, probably circa early 1930's-1950's after Barye. Please review all photos and make offers accordingly. Overall a really fantastic piece in excellent shape with no major defects and a very pleasing patina with some green oxidation near the relief holes in the horses down to the base. It measures 10 1/8" length to end of tail by 6 1/4" tall by 4 7/8" width at the base. Overall, a very nice solid bronze sculpture that is the perfect size for display!
