Description: Size: MEDIUM ARTIST: JAMES PHIRI This stunning sculpture is sculpted from FRUIT SERPENTINE by 3rd Generation SHONA artist, JAMES PHIRI. James was born on the 23rd December 1986 and is the second son in a family of three boys. His parents died when he was young, so James was unable to complete his education. A familiar scenerio to many children growing up in Zimbabwe. Fortunately he had already been inspired to become a sculptor, thanks to his father, who was also a sculptor. Self taught, he developed his own style, flowers being a particular interest. His ambition is to recognised as a sculptor and to sell his work worldwide. He has already sold to many countries, including the Netherlands, United States, UK and Germany. Exquisitely executed and wonderfully detailed, this piece would enhance any home setting. Lovely colours and markings throughout. Would make a wonderful and unique gift. DIMENSIONS: H20 X W13 x D10cm. SCULPTURE REFERENCE: AB0423 All our sculptures are ethically sourced. We support the artists directly. Each sculpture is wrapped in bubble wrap and held in place within a triple walled cardboard box with expanding foam, ensuring it does not move during transit. It's important that your sculpture arrives in the same condition it left us. Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
