Featuring a primitive, country Santa made from a variety of old materials, he wears a navy blue and cream one piece suit made from an old quilt -- accented in old felt belt with large black button. Holding a tiny grapevine wreath in one arm and little faux Christmas tree with tin star in the other, his beard is curly cotton wool and his canvas face is painted with a humorous expression - love the little freckles! Standing on the tiniest little canvas tippy toes, he is stuffed with cotton batting and designed to stand leaning against a wall or similar - he also has a small cord on back for hanging. Lightly tea dyed to give him a rather worn, aged appearance, he looks wonderful hanging from the knob of an antique blue painted cupboard - but I've also displayed him each year decorating our long mantle with a variety of other country and primitive style Santa figures - remember, he is made to look aged and worn - just an adorable addition to any holiday display!
