Description: Offered from the Adam Aaronson Collection, England, are two translucent beige glass vessels, covered with a bronze glaze. A wax resist is used to outline a series of flat circles, squares and rectangles that show out the translucent nature of the figurations. Each begin with a circular base, and near the top, opposing sides are flattened and brought in for an oblong look. Reference the images for the best description of this pair. The contrasting piece is a short squat vessel that has contrasting squares. These vessels need gentle treatment to keep the bronze intact. The tall vessel is 7” tall, 6” wide and approximately 3 ½” deep. They both sit on a flat, ground base that is 4” in diameter. The shorter vessel is 4 ¼” tall, 3 ½” deep and 6” wide. Reference photos for places where some bronze is nicked. Gorgeous signed and dated Aaronson work! If you have questions or need additional images, do not hesitate to contact the seller. I pack very well, so one can be assured that this piece will arrive safely. Please review all images as they constitute a significant portion of the description. Please review all four shipping options offered to find the least expensive one for your area. I never charge for packing materials or for my time for packing. I calculate closely on shipping weight so that the eBay calculator should be accurate. If, for some reason, you have been “overcharged” by more than a dollar, I refund the overcharge. Thanks for your consideration.
