Description: Alice Lonnon was a stage actress. Performed in Broadway plays 1900 to 1907. Pictured as Filiberta in " The Cardinal " and as Ada Ingot in " David Garrick ". This special unnumbered series of postcards was published in 1906 by the Rose Company in Philadelphia Pennsylvania (PA). The postcards are well printed in black on heavy cardboard stock with gold / gilt edes, and as such seem very limited in production, and extremely limited in current availability in the marketplace. This Series of cards is called " Histrionic ", meaning Actors or Actresses. This series is the larger of the two presumably, and features an Actor or Actress at the center, and then usually two of their known roles or performances. A facsimile of the person's signature is also present on the card. There is also a famous line or verse from their play. Mostly Stage actors from the late 19th / early 20th Century, some moved later into the early Silent Film Era. The Sister series is called " Operatic " , and usually features an opera singer at the center of the card, and then two of their known roles or performances. A Bar of Musical notes and lyrics is usually present in the center as well. A facsimile of the person's signature is also present on the card. Thank you for shopping with us!
