Wonderful Acanthus leaf scrolls ~ This wonderful curtain is French and dates 1870. This curtain is part of a large set to see the other matching pieces that came as a set, simply search my store for the word Acanthus and they will appear. Some have a different pattern but were all used together! ) . This panel is made using a GORGEOUS medium to heavy weight cotton and linen blend fabric. The true red ground is roller printed and design is hand block printed in pinks~ this design is breathtaking , even more beautiful in person ~*~The edges are trimmed with a lovely, thin , simple trim ~ This panel is backed in natural cotton with a lovely sheen ~ The top of this pane has been cut and is not hemmed. This textile would be stunning kept intact, however it would also be ideal for deconstruction and the fabric used for multiple projects such as upholstery , pillows, curtains, bedding, etc !~ MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful panel measures approximately 64 inches WIDE at the bottom by approximately 100 inches long. CONDITION : This fabric is in original, unwashed as found condition. There is fading on the right facing edge ( please see photographs). the backing has a few smaller holes and some marks. Light signs of time and use otherwise ~ This curtain is in wonderful condition for its age and use however Not perfect, but perfectly wonderful with light signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful antiques! ~*~ Inventory : E28 20230103
