Description: Fantastic piece of US history - Very good condition and a great addition to any collection and great conversation piece. 1784 historic map of the United States by Abel Buell. By many this is considered the FIRST official map of the United States as it is the FIRST map to have the American flag appear on it. This is a copy of the map that was issued in 1963 by the New Jersey Historical Society. The original map sits at the Library of Congress. This is a Vintage reproduction map unframed. The last 3 photos show a small Tare and bent corner and a couple of other small Tares on the edges. The rest of the map is in very good condition. Item will be shipped rolled up in a tube and or box.
