The subject, ABE ATTELL, was a key gambler in the so-called Black Sox Scandal. He is pictured here in an earlier time when he reigned as Featherweight Boxing Champion of the World. The card measures today's standard: 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" and features a brief write-up on the back which centers on the ex-boxer's championship fights. The card is of a high quality and was licensed by the Boxing Hall of Fame. It was issued in 1991 by All World Sports.
