Description: Corgi Aviation Archive Collector Series AA49204 Messerschmitt Bf 109E Diecast ModelLuftwaffe Desert Camouflage Hans J Marseille Limited Edition1:72 Scale Corgi's 1:72 scale Bf-109 E models are great to display and easy to return to near new conditionas they have relatively few bits to attach and return to the original packaging (unlike theirDragon counterparts). These models could easily pass as new. The box is in good shape. This model also includes and fascimile of the panel from this particular Messerschmitt. The Corgi 109’s are also almost entirely of diecast metal. Many of the early models have removable engine cowings, under which sits a detailed inverted Daimler-Benz V-12 engine. The large "bird-cage" canopy allows for easy viewing of a detailed hand-painted pilot figure. The paint schemes are extremely realistic. PLEASE READ - all photos shown are the ACTUAL MODEL THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE (these are not stock photos or pirated from another eBay listing!). While some of the models are new (never removed from the box) most of the models that I am selling have been displayed in a relatively dust-free cabinet and all are completely intact (no missing parts) - that is, THEY ARE IN NEAR NEW SHAPE. ALL HAVE BOXES (in most cases they are in good to great shape - if not, it will be noted). I have included numerous photos showing the models from various angles, along with the boxes. I tend to take the photos so they area a bit over-exposed because I believe that increased exposure better accentuates the detail (and any potential flaws). If there are issues with any of the models, this information will be included in this description. A final word - I have been collecting diecast models for many years, always with the goal of displaying them in their full glory. Unfortunately, due to a Parkinson’s diagnosis, I am now forced to sell my collections. If you are looking for a model that you want to keep in the box and put it in the closet to sell as “new” later, and want the internal packaging to be exactly as it was sent out by the manufacturer, these may not be the models for you. This is especially true for the Dragon Models, which tend to have more fiddly bits that are more challenging to return to pre-opening (new) placement. That said, the Corgi airplanes are much easier to put back in their clam shell enclosures, so in many cases you would not know if they were new or not.
