A female driver (Andrea Ferreol) collides with a swan at a zoo, killing her two passengers who were married to zoologist twins. The driver survives but has her leg amputated and has affairs with the twin widowers. Music is by Michael Nyman and Sascha Vierny is director of photography. This release includes a video introduction and an audio commentary by Greenaway, a short film by the director entitled "The Sea in Their Blood" and a fully illustrated booklet.
