Description: A Son of the Middle Border (Hamlin Garland, 1962 Hardcover) This book is in good condition. There are signs of age or wear through slight cover/spine fading, light soil, spine/cover edge/corner rub, slight or corner push, spine upper/lower end rub/push, page edge rub or scuffs, page edge light soil, and tanning/browning of pages. Previous owner put a plastic cover on the book which help protect it. I didn't remove the cover because it is taped to the inside cover and I didn't want to cause damage. There is scribble on the front end page as well as a previous owner's name/college. It looks like a label or sticker was removed as well. Hinges are slightly visible between the blank page and cover page. There is underlining and small notes in ink in many spots. Spine text is faded on some letters. Spine and hinges are in good shape. All pages are intact with no creasing. Note about the seller – I am not selling books as much as I am sharing in a passion.
