Description: This early 60s Califone New Yorker Model 4J-8 record player is a perfect example of the typical players found in schools all over the country. It plays four speeds: 78, 45, 33 1/3 and 16 and features a flip needle for all speeds. There's also an output for an extra speaker. The leatherette covering shows some wear but it's in good shape. The clear plastic handle has a small piece missing. This player has been electronically restored and sounds great! The player measures 15.25" x 13.75" x 8.75".
