Description: This book was written and published in Great Britain and printed in 1934. The red hardcover fabric is really worn, stained and faded, but is still solid. A small piece is peeling off at the top of the spine cover. Neatly written inscription on inside front cover, else all pages clean and in very good condition. Paged do, however, have a light tan from age. Binding is still pretty tight too.I seem to recall that AAers, back before the Big Book was written, read this book for guidance and inspiration. But when I google it, I can't find anything supporting it. So it either was in an article I read or I dreamed it years ago. Or it could have been something the Groupers read. I just don't know. Either way, this is getting to be a pretty scarce book and it did sell a lot of copies in the UK and here when it first came out. And upon investigating it, it is pretty much in line with philosophies of both the OG and AA. Please email with any questions.
