Description: This is E.H. Carr‘s magisterial history of Soviet Russia covering the period of 1917-1929. It is almost impossible to find the complete set and even difficult to track down individual volumes. I came across a second set some time ago, so I am letting go of this one. Some of the final volumes are in alternative gray dust jackets (vol. 11, 12 and 13) and do not follow the pattern of the original red jackets with artwork (see photos). All volumes appear to be in very good condition and I have not seen any writing in any of the volumes. The jackets are price clipped however (see photos). Besides a bit of spotting and discoloration to the pages from the ravages of time, these books are quite excellent. There are stickers with the previous authors name at the front (see photo). I do not quite know how to price such an item, so I am basing this off of similar collections that I have seen. Let us see if we can negotiate.
