Cut from older mined Magdalena, Jalisco rough, only a small percent of Mexican opal display multicolored fire and always valuable and expensive. Attractive bright gold base, then with areas displaying light to nicer directional multi color surface and slight internal fire that is best viewed with a strong direct light source entering stone from behind and at a certain angle. Color play NOT VISIBLE in ordinary room lighting or reflected lighting. Transparent, free of crazing, with very attractive face up and eye appeal. Custom brilliant round cut over 15 years ago from rough well seasoned and so very stable, stone approx. 7.03 x 7 x 4.71mm. Valuable opal variety. Beautiful ring or collector's stone. Photos taken with an ordinary digital camera with lamp light entering stone from behind and at a slight angle to best show fire and first 2 photos in a light box with camera flash.
