Description: This listing is for one (1) OEM General motors headlight motor output drive shaft. This is the drive shaft that fits inside the nylon gear with the 3 bushings that always like to fail. I have rebuilt many of these headlight motors and occasionally the shaft goes bad and can start to spin where it is pressed into the gear/bushing holder. This is a direct fit for 87-92 Pontiac Fiero and Firebird. It can also be used in other GM models but would need machined on a lathe to shorten the length of the shaft. Most of the time the original gear can be cleaned up and reused but sometimes it is necessary to replace the gear as well. Ships same day if ordered before 2 pm eastern time.
