Description: [84205] OLD MUTOSCOPE ARTISTS PIN-UP GIRLS "WHO SAID BEAUTIFUL BUT NUMB"; In Good condition with slightly worn corners. Mutoscope cards measure approximately 5¼ x 3¼". They were produced in the 1940's by the International Mutoscope Reel Company, along with other firms. They were sold from coin-operated vending machines in places such as amusement parks. All Mutoscope cards carry the inscription "A Mutoscope Card", and in the early 1950's, between 1950-1954, Louis Dow produced like images of the 1940's cards, but were 1/8" larger both horizontally and vertically, and are marked "Litho in USA" or "Litho in U.
