This variety of Swiss Chard is characterized by slender stems, bright green, glossy, mild tasting leaves that can be enjoyed fresh in Salads as well as cooked into a variety of dishes such as Palak paneer, dal Palak and sag. Does not bolt in the summer heat and is therefore also called perpetual spinach. Work some compost into the soil and sow your seeds in the garden, raised bed or containers.
