8" Selkirk 4824 HeatFab 304 Stainless Liner Adjustable Slip Connector 4" to 18"

Description: Have you ever needed an adjustable section of pipe to connect 2 other sections of pipes or liners and did not want to have to measure and cut it to exact size. This is a 8" diameter 304 alloy stainless steel pipe that has a 2" long female end and a 16" long tapered male end. which means you can slide the male end into most 8" diameter pipes as much as you need to up to 16". In the photos above, I show this slip connector sliding into a stainless steel rigid pipe, a flexible heavy-wall liner, a Class A prefab chimney section and (what I used them most for) for connecting up a liner tee at the base of the flue with flue or smoke pipe (this way I have a stainless steel pipe cemented inside the chimney wall, instead of galvanized pipe that would corrode easily). Of course, if the pipe you are sliding this slip connector into is shorter in length than the amount you want to slide into it, then you may have to cut the slip connector. Comes in handy for all kinds of pipe and liner connecting situations, especially in tight spaces when there is no way to measure lengths accurately and then having drill access to screw pipes together properly. Use high-temp red silicone sealant to seal pipes together as an alternative. After 43 years, we closed down our chimney sweep business and a year later are selling all our brand new inventory for 50% (or more) off wholesale list prices. We are much cheaper than most others on eBay, as we are not trying to make a profit, but need to clear out our inventory for good at a loss. Once one of our listings is sold out, it is gone for good.
