All EARLY ANTIQUE Edison BLUE AMBEROL type. Very early style and the 4 minute BLUE AMBEROL are among the rarest of all Edison cylinders. EACH IS IN AN ORIGINAL CARDBOARD CONTAINER, with information and Edison's face, etc. THE SAME CASES THAT THEY CAME IN OVER 110 YEARS AGO. These recordings are made to be used with a 4 minute Edison cylinder player designed to take the blue amberol cylinders. Most importantly, these recordings are all in excellent condition. Both cylinders and even most of the cases look just like the day they were made. They are quite playable and will provide a very clear sound. VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND THEM IN THIS CONDITION ANYWHERE ANYMORE. Cases are in very good to excellent condition, and some even still have the tops!!!IN ADDITION TO THEIR SPECIAL CONDITION, THIS LOT CONTAINS PARTICULARLY DESIRIBLE TUNES. Recordings in the lot are a variety of 8 great popular unusual early tunes, including: "The Ragtime Dream", #2232; "There's a Long Long Trail A-Winding", #2835; "When I'm Gone You'll Soon Forget", #2600; "Something Seems Tingle-Ingeling", #2404; "Hilo March (Hawaiian Guitar)", #2927; "When I Lost You (BY IRVING BERLIN)", #2131; "I'll Always Keep A Corner in My Heart", #4061; and "It Looks Like Rain", #4681. This lot contains some of the nicest, most playable blue amberol Edison cylinders that I have ever seen. Cylinders are often worn or very fragile, but these APPEAR TO BE JUST LIKE THE DAY THEY WERE MADE.
