If your Toro Rain Sensor is not working well, the likely cause is that your discs have weathered over time and are not functioning properly anymore. Instead of throwing away the entire sensor, just remove the spindle and cap and replace the worn out discs with these 8 new ones. The way this rain sensor works is that when rain hits these discs, they expand and push a switch off that is connected to the controller. When it stops raining and the discs dry out, they contract back to the original size and release the switch. If these discs get excessively dirty, are more than 4 years old, or have bugs living in and around them, they might not function properly. This is a simple tool free fix that should take no more than 5 minutes. This auction contains enough discs to repair one Toro rain sensor.
