Description: This collection includes Journal of Civil Defense magazine back issues from February 1980 through Winter 1995, comprising a total of 79 issues. The publication is in English and was released Bi-Monthly then quarterly. Each issue is illustrated and includes topics on civil defense, personal security, and other related subjects such as home and garden, cooking, hobbies and crafts, health, science, history, and nature and outdoors. Most issues are originals, uncirculated and in pristine condition, but some have been lost to time but may yet still be found with some effort. Missing publications in the time period were replaced by photocopy by the publisher years ago. Newer issues are easier to get but these older ones are hard if not impossible to come by. The Depth and Breadth of information in these is fascinating when it comes to civil and personal defense and preparedness. These must be saved for posterity and history.
