Description: Very scarce U.S. 78 rpm on the legendary OKeh label.I'm told by Satchmo experts that this is a rare pressing dating fromJanuary 1927 as indicated by the small centre ring and the patentline at the bottom of the label. Apparently there are two earlierOKeh pressings. Heebie Jeebies is a seminal jazz recording noted for being the first ever to feature Armstrong singing in scat. The flip Muskrat Ramble was a major hit in 1926. The disc retains a nice gloss and has only a few hairline scratches. On the A-side grooves there are two minor fractures, one 3.5 cm long and the other 1 cm long. On the B-side there are two small fractures close together both about 1 cm long.
