Description: The Southeastern Wisconsin Comics Club based in and around Racine Kenosha Wisconsin did a newsletter from 1977 to 1996! It started as SWCC News Notes moved to Kapow and ended as Ken's Paper weight as it passed through numerous editors . Print runs depended on size of membership between 75 and 200. I Think they were mainly given away at meetings. Cover artists in addition to local fans included Mike Grell, Wally Wood (a repro of early art in a member's collection) Bill Black, early Mark Heike art - and local artist who worked at Whitman and local companies like Elton Dorval and Terry Pavlet . It varies from mimeo in the earliest issues to a mixed of photo offset and photocopy in the later. The archives did not have a complete set of all 110 issues- these 64 issues are the most complete set there was - any questions email me I think most of the art and other club records are now sold Will be mailed in a box and insured . post office is closed on weekends - no international orders sorry- thinning my collection acquired over 50 years. For some reason it won't allow me to offer media mail
