These are lovely pieces made of reddish glass that is mottled in lighter and darker colors resembling sea coral. Coral is often a reddish color with a tinge of orange. They have a beautifully detailed carved flower design. Because of the coloring each one is slightly, uniquely different. To enhance the design, glass paint or nail polish can be rubbed intothe flower to give it a more 3 dimensional look. I prefer gold or bronze colors, though other colors are also lovely. They have a smooth back. see close-ups. These glass pieces have a flat back, they are not beads, they do not have a hole for beading. These glass flat backs have a round, domed shape with the flowers being 'engraved', giving them a more realistic 3-D effect.
