Description: 6 Fantastic handmade pitch and mosaic glass beads! Beautiful beads start with a gold plated brass fluted core to which hot black pitch is added and immediately embedded with small red colored round glass spheres. The end result is a wonderful primitive bead. Excellent for ethnic jewelry or just by itself on a leather cord. The colors vary as do the shape and size of these individually made beads.NOTE: These beads are large and heavy Photo is approximate size (computer setting vary, therefore images may vary also. Use coin [18mm] as a guide.) (Handmade please see photos for variances due to that process). Approximate size is 14mm. They are primitive and a bit rough, but very fun. One bead makes a great necklace with leather cord knotted on either side of these beads or maybe a couple of accent glass or metal beads. Large hole is approximately 3/8mm in diameter.
