New, Fine Quality, hand blown, hand-cut copper wheel engraved Solar Shade with "Feathered design" polished to clear design. Very nice reproduction. Most of the photos show the bottom of the shade and what the fitter area looks like. Top is a flared crown visible in first photo. 6 inch straight fitter (means it fits 6" diameter shade holder), 8" inches tall. 9 " width. 4 & 1/4" O.D. top. Good weight and feel. Awesome shade that looks even finer in person! Hand blown, cut, and polished shades were popular on Victorian lighting. These are hand blown in pure clear glass, sand etched on the outside, and further decorated by hand with copper wheel cutting, engraving, and polishing to clear, just like the old originals.
