These compact beauties have 5 toes on each foot, muffy cheeks and a beard. Cold weather hardy and to top it off lays 180-200 eggs per year and all winter long. Medium size eggs some tinted slightly pink or light brown. Abundance is RARE to WATCHED with the NPA only 5000 registered in the US. They are friendly and comical and often bullied by bigger birds, just to make you aware if you introduce them to a bigger more aggressive flock.Notice the size of the male. He is a gorgeous black, brown with a large white "cape" around his shoulders. Such a gentlemanwith his ladies he doesn't mind at all to be petted. These Heritage Salmon Faverolles are named "Salmon" because backfeathers are pinkish/salmon color with white under body. They have a small comb and feathered feet perfect for cold weather but yet comfortable with summer weather. FYI:Our eggs are collected twice daily at the least. We do not guarantee all eggs will hatch only Mother Nature can do that, but we are pretty close. We ship on the day of your order or next morning Monday through Saturday.
