Card #6 - EDDIE MILLER & EMIL VERBAN, 1948 Philadelphia Phillies PLAYBALL Photo Post Card issued in 1983 by TCMA, Limited Increasingly popular among collectors and serious baseball fans desiring vintage replicas of their favorites are the cards issued by The Card Memorabilia Associates, Ltd. (TCMA). While many TCMA sets are actual reprints of earlier works, this card is NOT a reprint edition but an original issued in 1983. This postcard may be considered a subset to TCMA's own continuation of the popular Play Ball series which it commemorated with 1942 through 1949 issues a quarter century ago. This card is featured in the style and format of Gum, Incorporated's highly desired 1940 Play Ball series except in postcard size. The card is nicely executed with indepth biography as well as space for mailing on the back. It is an important addition to the collection of any serious baseball hobbyist. Condition: Excellent except for some stray printer's marks near/left border, slight paper loss (upper right corner) and pencil mark(s) in upper right corner on reverse side. _______________________ Important: Shipping Information Our goal has always been to keep shipping costs low.
