Description: I found this rare clutch of at least 11 holaster species echinoid freshly exposed in a mixed formation creek (weno, paw paw, Grayson) just south of downtown Fort Worth, Texas, in tarrant county in November 2024. Unfortunately, most of the echinoids are quite worn, but this is typically of holaster species for some reason. The presence of this many echinoids together is not common for me to find.
