Nice w Value This is a nice selection of 6 CHRISTMAS postcards showing various scenes dealing with the Christmas season. These are ANTIQUE postcards that were published in the early 1900s. These postcards are nicely EMBOSSED, have strong GOLD trim around the postcard, and they are UNPOSTED. These postcards are attractive with good detail, and pleasing to look at. These are colorful postcards and have the classic look to them from the early 1900s. These postcards have designs with flowers, churches, snowy rural scenes, etc. One postcard has a number of poinsettia flowers and a church evening scene in the back. There is strong gold trim around the borders, through the flowers, and even a strip that looks like lace. Another postcard shows a river with a bridge and tunnel in the background and housing to the right. It is a snowy rural scene and it has a yellow orange sunset. Around the design are gold bells as well as holly and berries. There is a postcard with a man in a boat on a lake with trees and mountains in the back. This looks more like a spring scene than a winter one. It has a strong gold border around the design. There is a postcard that has a church scene above in a snowy windy scene and below is the message for Christmas. Another postcard has two gold bells as well as green holly and red berries, along with mistletoe. The last postcard is a gold basket filled with holly and berries. This postcard is AIR BRUSHED with color and it has a strong gold basket and gold in the corners. These are all nice Christmas postcards that would appeal to collectors because of their age, design, and colors. Early antique Christmas postcards are sought after by collectors. These are collector items because of their interesting themes, the gold trim, and general appeal to Christmas postcard collectors. Overall, a nice selection of old antique Christmas postcards! The postcards are UNPOSTED and would have been published in the 1908-1912 time period. They are all EMBOSSED, with GOLD trim, and have been "Printed in Germany". The postcards have DIVIDED backs.
