Description: Zorki 2-C 35mm rangefinder film camera, code K135, USSR 1954-1956, serial number 59905581, with 50mm f3.5 Industar-50 lens, serial number 5976172, lens cap, and case with strap. The Zorki 2 was produced for only three years, in a fairly small production of 10,310 units.There were many styles of the nameplate in Cyrillic, both Cyrillic and Roman, and in different locations of the top plate.The Zorki 2 was based on the Zorki 1 body, with few improvements: - Kiev-type self timer on front; - new shutter speed setting knob, larger, with an index on the central shaft; - the shutter release button no longer turns when the shutter is pressed; - the collar becomes the rewinding clutch selector, replacing the lever, and- with strap lugs. Focal plane shutter, speeds 1/30-1/500 + B, flash shoe (synchronized), serial number stamped on back, and Leica LTM39 Ø39 screw mount lens flange. Camera looks beautiful.No nicks, dents or issues of any kind. I've restored camera and lens from the ground up, and marked as such, as you can see on the last picture ("Dec 2024").It's totally original. Every single piece has been removed, cleaned, sanded and polished.Curtains are intact.Speeds, transport and firing, it's a totally functional, accurate and smooth process.The rangefinder has been calibrated, both horizontally and vertically, so focus is sharp and aligned.Self timer works properly. The lens has clear glass and smooth focus and aperture rings.Leatherette is intact. Thank you.
