53x36 Antique Jenny Lind Bed Floral Folk Authentic Organic Distressed No Rails

Charming cottage-style Jenny Lind headboard and footboard with folk art style painted details in very muted blues and greens. Please note, I do not have rails for this bed - I used both of theses pieces as headboards with free-standing bedframes. The bed has a heavily and authentically distressed finish from age; bare wood is visible in multiple areas adding to the character. Unsure of wood type but appears to be maple or other hardwood. No finish, wax or oil has been applied so that buyer may use as is or modify finish. Currently, the color shifts between a yellowish-hued appearance to a grayish color, depending on the light. All spindles, acorns and trim pieces are present. Original receiving hardware for rails is missing on the footboard. There is a crack on the headboard, in the middle of the receiving band for the spindles - see pic 2, far right of frame, just after the 4th spindle. Both pieces measure 53” wide x 36” high, approximately a full size. Both pieces were previously used as headboards - one was used with a full size mattress and freestanding frame, and one was used with a queen size mattress and free-standing frame (the mattress was about 3" wider than headboard on each side but it wasn't an issue for me, the width difference was muted by the bedding).
