Description: This is an offering of a lovely hard to find piece of the Highmount Majolica from the 1950's that was produced in West Germany. This is made to look like the earlier pieces marked with the Zell name. This also has the same type of numbers as the older pieces! This is the Round embossed cake plate that measures about 11 3/4" in diameter.It is in the aqua blue with the nice emboossed pattern of Birds and Berries. This comes with the original cake server which is about 10 1/8" long and has an embossed design on the handle. There are no chips or cracks to either piece. The cake server has light minor crazing to the glaze on the front side. Both pieces are marked as shown. This is a very hard to find set and is in very nice shape. I will be offering a lot of pieces from this dinnerware set that was purchased in the mid 1950's from Brown County, Indiana. Buyer pays shipping with insurance included!
