This vintage ribbon was from a long defunct Paterson New Jersey ribbon factory. Chas E. Roberts. ribbon measures 5/8" wide and 50 yards long. Aside from tape residue on the ribbon about small piece of tape from the end, it is in "like new" condition. These 13 star and striped flags are woven and not printed. I believe the fabric is cotton and maybe silk? Circa 1900 Roll Of American Flags "Old Glory" Cloth Ribbon It seems to me that someone who collects political badges, or somebody who collects Military medals might have a good use for it. You could cut the ribbon in any length needed. I have seen over the years, ribbon just like this on Spanish American War pinback buttons and small brass badges, and on political items as well. I think the ribbon would also be suitable for decorating a display of political items or military items, giving the display a vintage look to it.
