Description: This listing is for a vintage lot of little girl's dresses from the 1950s & 1960s. They were actually worn by my sister and I who are now in our 60s. And they need to be used and enjoyed by someone else, not laying in a box in a closet. We have talked about releasing them over the years but you know how it is-- The memories they can't take away and the photos do tell the story. As a whole these dresses, slips and booties are in good to excellent shape. Mom was meticulous about clothes-- a fashion plate herself. No rips, tears, stains, missing buttons unless noted and basically it is the slips that have the issues. Size wise I think they run about 9 months to a 2T but I think most would fit a 12 to 18 month old. Dresses are primarily made of cotton. Here's the list of description and thoughts. Please refer to the photos for any other details and don't hesitate to reach out to me with questions. And I can add two more photos to the listing. The yellow calico with the rick rack trim and the red mini checked gingham are handmade (my aunts were the most amazing seamstresses) The white one is hand smocked and hand embroidered on the collar. It is a Polly Flinders There is a yellow crinoline There is a rayon white dress with a yellow underslip -- very nice and soft. The pink Oriental style outfit is a 6 - 9 month outfit made by Winkums of St. Paul MN. It is the cutest and in very good condition. I took photos of the frog tie accents on the front piece and on the side seam of the pants by the ankle. It's just too cute and I haven't seen anything like this in years. There are two slips and both are made of polyester rayon. The yellow has an area of splotches-- like something leached the color out of the fabric. Fabric is in good shape but it is just lacking the dye. The ruffled slip has a shoulder strap that needs to be resewn into place. The 2 pairs of booties-- Well they have been flattened but are in good shape construction wise. There is a pink pair and a yellow pair. Both are faded. Good for patterns maybe? Maybe some of you more experienced fabric handlers know how to bring them back to life. Thanks for viewing this listing!
