4th Air Force White Back Patch WWII Vintage Pacific Coast States

Description: The Patch: This Auction is for 1 WWII Vintage 4th Air Force patch with a white back. This patch has been used and there is some wear to the border. There is some scrapbook paper on the back. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. The History: The 4th Air Force was activated on April 9th, 1941. It was responsible for the air defense of the Western United States. The 4th conducted patrols over the Pacific and also controlled Air Defenses in the Western US. The Fourth later was given the mission of training crews for overseas duties. They participated in the B-29 Development program which led to the dropping of the Atomic Bomb. Please read my auction requirements. I have changed them based upon feedback and ratings received.
