Description: 49 East African hunting vintage photos Selous, Tanzania & Kenya with PH Dave Williams Africa Safari from 1973. This client hunted in the Selous Game Reserve 51 years ago with Professional White Hunter Dave Williams (who appears in one photo) East African Professional Assoc. full member in 1960. Nick-named by the staff "Pili Pili" (pepper) he did apprenticed with Syd Downey and John Kingsley Heath. Dave hunted as a PH in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda Sudan, Zaire & Botswana. In 1968 he was chewed up by a leopard, and was knocked down by a black rhino near Voi, Kenya while hunting elephant. He one time guided actor Stewart Granger. Williams died in Nairobi in 1998. A great collection of original color safari photos of elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard rhino etc. 49 photos in original envelopes & negatives. Good condition. Photos are 3 1/2" x 5". Included is a lot of negatives as well, with some images not in the photos.
