Description: After seeing a massive weathervane arrow on a local house (see last photo above), old slicky here decided to use up some of the "stuff" laying around the shop, cutting, welding, grinding involved. The tail is a piece of brass scrap material I had laying around. It is then connected to an 8" diameter fire chimney damper. Then a bunch of 1/4" and 3/8" diameter steel rod leads up to the front pointer, which is the actual hood jet off of a 1953 Ford. I have positioned the vertical mounting shaft at the balance point of the weathervane arrow, vertical steel shaft spins inside steel tube, buyer to DIY steel tube "fabrication/design/attachment" onto their own property.
