It does work however there are some slight modifications to get it to fit. I had to add a 1/2"X"8 threaded rod with 4 nuts and washers from the included brace to the hitch to provide support. After getting it installed it works perfectly. The hinge pin is about 1/4" too short. It continually slides out of place due to the vibration of normal use making the lid difficult to align while closing. It is highly annoying and would be an easy flaw to fix simply by providing a longer hinge pin. I have seen other reviews claiming that the chute continually clogs. This ONLY happens if the grass you are cutting is wet and quite long. When mowing dry grass OR mowing a lawn which is not terribly overgrown it works perfectly. Fix the issue with the pin and you have a great product.Fit my Craftsman Mower19 Sep 23They have made some noticeable improvements over the years. I do like the see through hose and it fit my Craftsman T240 46in riding mower without the need to drill any holes. I bought the mower a couple years ago since I have 1/2 acre of land. The mower was great, but the grass wasn't so happy. Once I got the grass catcher and installed it (It was pretty easy to do) I immediately went to work and the lawn looks great! Now a couple months later my lawn is not only easy to care for, but with no extra grass cuttings it has become very healthy and thick.When mowing you have 3 choices: First is to mow and have the cutting scattered as you go, the next is to have a mulching blade but this still leaves occasional clumps that can hurt the lawn, then there is what I have done and use a catcher that lets our mower cut the grass and the catcher collects everything for disposal (I use it as part of my composting).Between the mower and catcher I am 100% satisfied and will be looking into the other tools they offer!42" bagger4 Aug 23[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, works great.
