Description: 4100 Overhauled Ladies Dead Seiko Angel Black Leather From Japan Description Introducing the Seiko Angel. This is a vintage hand-wound ladies' watch from about 60 years ago. It has a 1960s design with a white silver dial with a radial luster, bar indexes, and a square case. There is a "crane mark" on the back. The "crane mark" began to be engraved on the cases of Seiko products from around 1946 (Showa 21). It is said that the mark was created by incorporating the character "crane" from the name of Tsuruhiko Yoshikawa (1864-1945), the chief engineer who built the foundation of Seikosha in 1892 when Seikosha was founded.
