It'll have AMAZING reddish brown color variations once debarked. Diameters measure about 1-5/8" at the top to about 1-1/8 inches at the bottom.41-3/4 inchesSolid & supportive....easily support a larger person, if need be.Only weighs about 2 lb. (with the weight of handle piece). EXTRA 9-1/2" piece, cut from same branch to color match Perfectly, to sculpt a handle out of, if so desired.It has a small gash where a branch was tore off (see pic). It should be able to be carved out or cleaned up so it wouldn't be noticeable. It appears to have some highly sought after spalted wood as you can tell be the looks of the ends. Spalted wood is darkened streaks in the wood grains that look magnificent when finished. Dry & ready to be carved & finished. It'll make a GORGEOUS cane once completed! A fun & rewarding project!
